Dr. Steph Gutkin is a child, adolescent, and adult psychologist (#02806) who works with individuals and families navigating a wide range of emotional, developmental, and behavioral challenges. She earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Fordham University’s NASP- and APA-accredited program, a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Preschool Psychology from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Fairfield University.
Dr. Gutkin has over a decade of experience supporting children, teens, adults, and parents across home, school, and clinical settings. Her work includes both therapeutic and assessment-based services, including comprehensive psychological, educational, and neuropsychological evaluations, as well as social skills groups and school-based interventions.
She works with clients presenting with developmental disabilities, learning differences, trauma, anxiety, and emotional regulation challenges, and partners closely with caregivers to help them better understand and support their children’s needs.
Known for her warm, collaborative style, Dr. Gutkin creates a supportive and engaging environment tailored to each client’s strengths and goals. She integrates evidence-based approaches, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), while maintaining a strong focus on real-world application across settings.
