Toilet training your child can be challenging, whether you are a first-time parent, your younger child is presenting differently from one you have already potty trained, or you have a child with special needs. This webinar, presented by Francyne Zeltser, PsyD and Dorrie Barbanel, LMSW, BCBA, BCBA, aims to provide information and options to those who are struggling with toilet training. Strategies to help with bowel movements or fear of the toilet will be discussed. They will share information that will be beneficial for both parents and professionals.
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn:
1. How to identify if your child is ready for toilet training
2. Basic Toilet Training Procedure outlined by Frank Cicero, PhD. BCBA
3. Options for bowel movement training if children are only voiding urine in the toilet
4. Strategies if your child is afraid to sit on the toilet
BCBA live attendees are able to obtain 1 BACB General Learning CEU free, upon completion of the post-webinar survey.
NYS Psychologists will be eligible for 1 Continuing Education Contact Hour upon completion of the post-webinar learning assessment.
