Our Teen Social Anxiety Group offers crucial help to teenagers who struggle with Social Anxiety, which makes it tough to socialize in typical settings. These groups expose teens to new social situations, helping them gain confidence and succeed in interactions with peers, strangers, family, and friends.
With a small group size (limited to 6 teens) and individual assessments before starting the group, we create personalized experiences that align with the goals and challenges of each participant. These sessions are conducted in person, providing a supportive space for growth.

For skill building and support related to the benefits of this group, MPG can also create a tailored treatment plan based on individual service(s) or other types of support if there is not a group actively running at the time.

Pricing
Early Bird pricing is available up to six weeks prior to the group start. Standard pricing is $1,200 total ($150 per session), paid in full before the group starts. plus a $400 assessment fee for patients new to MPG. This fee includes the intake, 8 adolescent sessions, and 1 parent session. The intake includes a comprehensive packet and a brief in-person interview with the parent(s) and teen.
Assessment
The intake may provide a diagnosis for teens to use for out-of-network reimbursement from insurance for the group fee. This intake helps assess the teen’s behavior, identify their social anxiety challenges, and determine their goals for the program.
Cancellation policy
There are no refunds or makeup dates for missed classes. Full payment is required upfront.

Yes, there is a cancellation policy in place. There are no refunds or makeup dates for the class, and full payment is required upfront. Please be aware that due to the pandemic, groups may be moved to virtual sessions depending on the rate of positive cases in Manhattan and state and CDC guidelines and recommendations.
