Zoë is a clinical intern at MPG who has completed all academic coursework for her master’s in Couples and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, The California School of Professional Psychology. She holds an MPL (Master’s in Planning) with a concentration in community planning and social justice from the University of Southern California, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University.
Zoë has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing psychotherapy services for individuals and families, as well as social skills training. Her clinical expertise includes evaluating and treating anxiety, depression, panic disorder, issues related to attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She utilizes interventions from a variety of theoretical models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Narrative Therapy, Collaborative Therapy, and other solution-focused approaches.
Zoë’s work is centered on helping individuals navigate challenges, encouraging openness, and discovering value and strength through vulnerability. She honors the uniqueness and validity of each client’s experiences, as well as their innate strengths.
With a diverse professional background, Zoë’s work is rooted in a deep interest in people, their stories, and the transformative possibilities that arise when individuals are treated with care, respect, and opportunity.
Outside of MPG, Zoë lives with her spouse, two young children, and two cats who are gradually warming up to the children as permanent members of the family!
