Carly Klayman is a New York (#084711) licensed social worker and behavioral therapist. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Carly received her Master of Social Work at Hunter College. In addition, she earned an Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Hunter College School of Education. Carly is also formally trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Carly has extensive experience providing behaviorally oriented treatment to children in their homes, schools, and in social skills groups. Her background in child development, family systems, and evidence-based interventions allows her to bring a thoughtful and individualized approach to her work with both children and their families.
Carly is a dedicated social worker with a strong passion for helping children build confidence, strengthen relationships, and improve self-esteem. She leads social skills groups that provide children with a structured and supportive environment to practice real-time peer interactions, develop emotional awareness, and build meaningful connections. Through this work, Carly has helped many children gain confidence in social settings and carry these skills into their everyday lives.
