Alexandra Fryman, M.S., is a Clinical Extern at Manhattan Psychology Group, where she specializes in providing evidence-based psychological services to children, adolescents, and families. She earned her Master of Science in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in School-Community Psychology, along with an Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, with the goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Alexandra has extensive experience across diverse clinical and educational settings, including public schools, a positive psychology clinic, and a psychological assessment clinic, where she has worked with children, families, and adults. Her therapeutic approach integrates several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Parent Training, and Positive Psychology.
She is passionate about helping children and families build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, and enhance communication and coping skills. Alexandra takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach that centers on each child’s unique values, interests, and abilities while addressing areas for growth. Her work focuses not only on reducing challenges but also on promoting positive behaviors and overall well-being.
In addition, Alexandra provides targeted interventions to build executive functioning, emotion regulation, and social skills, supporting clients in achieving meaningful, lasting change. She deeply values parent involvement and strives to empower families with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to foster their child’s continued success beyond the therapy room.
