
Biography
Lydia is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst that specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Stony Brook University and an M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Daemen University. Lydia has extensive experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with children and adults since 2016, when she began in the field in an early intervention clinic in Long Island. From there, Lydia has continued to vary her experience by servicing clients in homes, schools, transition programs, and even international settings.
Lydia’s strongest interests in the field consist of developing client communication skills, improving client adaptive living repertoire, and facilitating the desensitization of client phobias. Some career highlights include presenting her research at the ABA International (ABAI) Conference in Boston and her time building an ABA program in Kenya. One of Lydia’s career goals and passions is to help create more opportunities and resources for the adult-autism population.
For fun, Lydia likes to continue to learn sign language, experience new restaurants and parks and complete DIY projects for her home.
