Prashasti is enthusiastic to be a part of the MPG team as a clinical extern. She recently completed a Master of Science in School Psychology from St. John’s University. Prashasti is studying to complete her Doctorate in Psychology to pursue a career as a licensed clinical psychologist.

Prashasti provides cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for both children and adults, more specifically for those with symptoms related to anxiety and depression. She also has experience managing behavioral challenges for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Additionally, she is able to support families with individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) through executive functioning skills training and parent support. Prashasti has worked across settings including public schools, an autism research center, and mental health clinics.
Prashasti welcomes collaboration and participation from her clients’ support systems in treatment and is committed to providing holistic psychological treatment through a culturally competent lens. Prashasti is interested in being a facilitator of conversation for immigrant children/families/adults as they navigate the unique experiences of biculturalism, assimilation, and learning about their identities. She is also a bilingual provider who can communicate with her clients in both English and Hindi.
