Nicole Forrest is a New York State Certified Special Education Teacher. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and a minor in philosophy from Hunter College. After receiving her bachelor's degree, Nicole continued to work with children with autism and other developmental disabilities.
In May 2007, Nicole earned a Master's degree in Special Education and Early Childhood and she furthered her education by taking online courses from Florida Institute of Technology in ABA to complete the requirements to sit for the BCBA exam. She has worked as an ABA Therapist, Special Education Itinerant teacher, Special Education Teacher Support Service and Early Intervention Supervisor.
Nicole is passionate about helping young children and supporting families to thrive in the early years of development. Nicole is currently pursuing a PHD in Early Childhood and Infant Mental Health program online at Fielding University. Nicole has experience in working with children with developmental disabilities in various roles from administrative to direct care for over the past 20 years. She is driven by the desire to help children to develop life skills and to overcome challenges. Additionally, Nicole has experience in helping children, increase functional language and play skills as well as parent training.
