Join Dr. Shane Spiker as he provides an in-depth analysis of a supervisors role in quality of work life. Supervision is a key element in helping foster skill growth and prevention of burnout among folks working in behavior analysis. Unfortunately, supervisors are often spread thin, resulting in limited support and creating a larger, more problematic organizational culture. The impact of supervision cannot be understated, especially in relation to quality of work life. In this talk, Dr. Shane T. Spiker will discuss how intentional supervision practices can have a direct impact on quality of work life, which in turn will help to improve organizational outcomes.
Participants will be able to:
1. Identify relevant self-care domains related to occupational and educational well-being
2. Determine relevant variables that contribute barriers to occupational and educational well-being
3. Create a plan for occupational and educational well-being
BCBA live attendees are able to obtain 1 free BACB Supervision CEU, upon completion of the post-webinar survey.
