Conner McKinzie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (#017888) who earned his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, Brooklyn. Before entering the field, Conner spent several years working in live music and production, an experience that continues to shape his understanding of creativity, identity, and the pressures many individuals face in high-performance environments.
Conner works with children, adolescents, and adults and has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. He also helps individuals strengthen executive functioning skills, including organization, planning, and follow-through, to better manage daily responsibilities and long-term goals.
His approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and practical skill-building. Conner works closely with clients to develop tools such as cognitive reframing, mindfulness, and self-awareness, helping them navigate challenges while building a stronger sense of confidence and authenticity.
