Carly Klayman is a New York (#084711) licensed social worker and behavioral therapist. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Carly received her Master of Social Work at Hunter College. In addition, she earned an Advanced Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Hunter College School of Education. Additionally, Carly is formally trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Carly has extensive experience providing behaviorally oriented treatment to children in their homes, schools and in social skills groups. Carly’s knowledge of child development, family systems, and evidence-based interventions help her to bring a unique perspective to individualized treatment with both children and their families.
Carly is a dedicated social worker with a strong passion for helping children and their families build strong relationships and improve self-esteem. With a specialized focus on social skills treatment, Carly works primarily in group settings to support children in developing essential interpersonal skills and confidence. Her compassionate approach and expertise in child development create a safe and encouraging environment where young individuals and their families can learn, grow and build meaningful relationships. Carly’s goal is to empower children to navigate social challenges, strengthen family bonds and thrive in their community.
