Zhuoxuan “Silvia” Wang, B.A., is a doctoral candidate in the School–Clinical Child Psychology Psy.D. program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University and is training to provide comprehensive psychological services across school and clinical settings.
Silvia has gained experience in hospital neuropsychology departments, private practices, public schools, and university clinics. She has conducted neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, provided individual and group therapy for children and adolescents, and collaborated with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. She is especially skilled at supporting children with developmental, neurological, and emotional challenges within a multidisciplinary team approach.
Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Japanese, Silvia is dedicated to culturally and linguistically responsive care. Her clinical interests include trauma-informed practice, culturally sensitive assessment, and the connection between neurodevelopment and emotional regulation. She is passionate about promoting mental health equity for immigrant and bilingual children and works to empower families through advocacy, support, and practical strategies.
