
Dr. Serena Mainiero is currently one of our post-doctoral neuropsychology fellows. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from College of the Holy Cross and her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from APA-accredited program at William James College. Dr. Mainiero completed her internship at AHRC-NYC, where she provided therapy as well as evaluations for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual/Developmental disabilities.
Dr. Mainiero has extensive experience providing therapy and evaluations across a number of settings. She has completed training at schools, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals, where she gained experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Parent Management Training (PMT), as well as psychodiagnostic, pre-surgical, neuropsychological, and autism evaluations.
Dr. Mainiero is passionate about providing compassionate care to children, adolescents, and adults. She aims to improve the lives of others through providing comprehensive evaluations so individuals can better understand themselves and access the appropriate services and support.
