Frank Merenda II, M.A., is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. He joins Manhattan Psychology Group (MPG) with a strong foundation in clinical training and a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and families. Frank earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marist College, where he was honored with the 2024 Multicultural and Social Justice Advocacy Award for his commitment to inclusive and equitable care.
Frank has provided therapy across a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and group private practices, working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and family conflict. He is trained in evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent Management Training (PMT). Frank values collaboration with families and tailors his approach to meet each client’s unique strengths, cultural background, and goals.
At MPG, Frank is eager to continue developing his clinical expertise while helping clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and strengthen family relationships. His warm, collaborative style helps children and families feel supported as they work toward meaningful growth and positive change.
