Mental Health Therapy

Manhattan Psychology Group is a private-pay practice.
Individual, couples, and family therapy is billed based on time used and prorated from an hourly rate (session lengths may vary).
Hourly fees generally range from ~$200–$600 per hour and depend on the clinician's experience level, including training, background, and availability.
We accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA.
Sliding Scale (for Mental Health Services only)
We offer limited sliding scale openings when available, based on clinician availability and clinical fit.
If you would like to inquire about reduced-fee options, please complete our interest form so our team can advise you.
Group Therapy
Group therapy is offered at a lower fee and is billed per session (typically ~$150/session). Group sessions must be paid in full prior to the group start date.
Testing
Neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and autism testing is a specialized, time-intensive service.
All testing fees must be paid in full before testing begins, and due to the reserved nature of appointments and the substantial work done outside the session (scoring, interpretation, report writing), testing fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once scheduled/initiated (including missed appointments, cancellations, or incomplete testing).
We offer a no-charge consultation call with a member of our clinical team to review concerns, testing options, timelines, and expected fee ranges. Please use the sign-up link on our contact us page here.
Payment plans may be available on case-by-case basis.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services
Private-Pay ABA Services: MPG offers ABA either directly with a BCBA or through a tiered model with a Behavioral Interventionist supported by a BCBA.
Hourly Rates: BCBA services are $360/hour; Behavioral Interventionist direct services are $125/hour (tiered model only).
Insurance: Insurance reimbursement may be available only for clients with an existing ASD diagnosis, pending plan eligibility and authorization.
Insurance (Out-of-Network Only)
We are an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans and do not accept direct insurance payments.
You pay at the time of service, we provide a superbill, and you submit it to insurance for potential reimbursement based on your plan’s out-of-network benefits (after deductible, if applicable).
As a courtesy, our team can help to provide you with the required paperwork. Please see our Patient Care Liaison page for more information.
Some families use services like Sheer Health to submit claims (we have no financial relationship with them).
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, self-pay clients may request a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.
