
Zhuoxuan “Silvia” Wang, B.A. is a doctoral candidate in the School-Clinical Child Psychology PsyD program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from New York University. Her training integrates school and clinical psychology, preparing her to provide comprehensive psychological services across educational and mental health settings.
She has received clinical training in various settings, including hospital-based neuropsychology departments, private practices, public schools, and university-based clinics. Her experience includes conducting neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments, providing individual and group therapy to children and adolescents, and working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. In addition to her work with school-aged populations, she has participated in multidisciplinary teams supporting children with developmental and neurological differences.
Ms. Wang’s clinical interests include trauma-informed care, culturally responsive assessment, and the intersection of neurodevelopment and emotional regulation. She is particularly passionate about promoting mental health equity for immigrant and bilingual children, and aims to incorporate advocacy and policy work into her future practice. She is fluent in Mandarin, English, and Japanese, and is committed to providing linguistically and culturally sensitive care. Currently, she is completing her externship at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Division of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurological Surgery, where she continues to refine her assessment and therapeutic skills under the supervision of licensed psychologists.
