Sandy Wong earned her Master’s degree in Education in School Psychology from CUNY Brooklyn College and is a certified school psychologist in New York State. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in School Psychology at Fordham University. With nearly a decade of experience conducting psychological and autism evaluations in both school and clinical settings, Sandy has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Sandy understands that seeking support or an evaluation can feel overwhelming, and she strives to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive experience for every individual and family she works with. She recognizes the important role that cultural background, life experiences, and personal relationships play in shaping each person's journey. Using a person-centered approach, Sandy takes time to understand each individual's unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
Sandy works collaboratively with individuals and their support systems to identify meaningful goals, build on existing strengths, and access the resources and skills needed to thrive. Through her supervised clinical work at MPG, she integrates comprehensive assessment and evidence-based practices to help individuals gain insight, develop effective strategies, and create positive, lasting change.
