Edward Pinkhasik (Eddie) is a bilingual doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the Macaulay Honors program at CUNY Baruch College. He has provided therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults across a range of clinical settings, including community health clinics, college counseling centers, and outpatient behavioral health clinics. Through these experiences, he has worked with individuals presenting with a wide variety of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related difficulties, ADHD, and relational challenges. He also has experience providing both individual and family therapy, with a focus on fostering meaningful growth and emotional well-being.
Eddie’s therapeutic style is integrative, collaborative, and client centered. He draws from attachment-based and relational frameworks while incorporating evidence-based approaches. He has a strong foundational training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents. In his work with younger clients, he often integrates play therapy techniques to strengthen therapeutic rapport and support emotional expression and insight. He values tailoring treatment to each client’s unique strengths, cultural background, and personal goals. In addition to psychotherapy, Eddie has experience conducting neuropsychological assessments for ADHD and general cognitive functioning.
At MPG, Eddie is eager to continue developing his clinical expertise in working with children and adolescents experiencing diverse psychological concerns. He is committed to providing a warm, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment where clients can develop coping skills, bolster family and interpersonal relationships, and enhance their overall quality of life.
