
Dr. Merav Hasler is a licensed psychologist specializing in school and child clinical psychology, with over a decade of experience serving children, adolescents, and families across the New York Tri-state area. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed both her master’s and doctoral training at St. John’s University in Queens, NY.
Dr. Hasler has received extensive training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), and Parent Management Training (PMT). She has worked in a range of clinical settings, including schools, community mental health centers, private practices, and academic institutions, allowing her to bring a flexible, client-centered approach to care.
In addition to providing therapy, Dr. Hasler offers comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations. Her assessments help identify the root causes of learning, emotional, or behavioral challenges and guide individualized recommendations for academic and developmental support. Drawing on her experience as a former school psychologist at Scarsdale Middle School, Dr. Hasler brings valuable insight into the educational system and collaborates closely with families to navigate school-based services and interventions. She is fluent in Hebrew and is able to provide bilingual services as needed, ensuring care is accessible and culturally responsive.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Hasler enjoys traveling, practicing Pilates, and spending time with her children and family.
