Jenny Moss is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a humanistic approach to her sessions: the belief that all beings are innately good and possess the capacity to create the life they wish to lead. She works with individual clients ages 6-100 years old, as well as couples and families. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, as well as couples counseling. Other common areas of treatment include low self-esteem and self-doubt, school and work stress, life transitions, identity concerns, and interpersonal struggles.
By utilizing her skills in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Imago, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Jenny helps clients find immediate symptom relief while also helping them gain insight into how past experiences have shaped their present identities and situations. In addition, she helps clients break down negative narratives and replace them with more adaptive mindsets so they can move toward self-actualization. Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Wellness from Farmingdale State College where she was on the President’s List and inducted into the Social Justice Scholar Academy, and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University.
