Charlotte completed her Master’s Degree in Childhood and Special Education from Manhattanville College. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Education at Boston College.
Charlotte currently holds New York State Certifications in Childhood and Special Education for students in grades 1 through 6. After completing her degrees, Charlotte taught and coached in Westchester at a private middle and high school for girls. She currently works at a public elementary school in New York City where she has taught both Self-Contained and ICT classes for students in grades 1 through 4.
During the summer, Charlotte is one of 4 special education teachers at Big Apple Day Program, a social skills summer treatment camp in Manhattan. Charlotte is knowledgeable in the new Common Core State Standards and tutors students in preparation for the NY State ELA and Math Tests. She current provides tutoring, homework help and academic remediation for children in grades 1 through 6.
