Manhattan Psychology Group, PC (MPG) seeks to fill pediatric neuropsychologist positions at our growing private psychology and ABA practice in Manhattan.
MPG is a thriving private multidisciplinary treatment practice on the UWS in Manhattan. Our team of psychologists, behavior analysts and special educators provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral services for toddlers, children, adolescents and adults in the greater NYC metro area.
We’re seeking pediatric neuropsychology applicants with post-doctoral training evaluating children and adolescents. We have 2 separate needs for testing so applicants can apply for either or both positions based on level of experience:
- ASD evaluations – Applicant must have experience evaluating students with all Levels of Autism, using the ADOS, giving first diagnosis of Autism and testifying as part of the DOE impartial hearing process.
- General evaluations – Applicant must have experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of students with various learning, attentional and social-emotional challenges.
Intakes, testing and feedback would take place at our UWS office (82nd/Columbus) on Mon-Fri from 9-1 and report writing could be done remotely. We would expect about 7 evaluations per month. We have a large treatment team of child psychologists and strong referral relationships in the NYC community so we anticipate this position growing quickly and becoming integral to our overall intake and treatment process.
Applicant must be licensed as a Psychologist (or license eligible) in New York State to practice independently with his/her own malpractice insurance and NPI number. If necessary, applicants can maintain outside part-time jobs at settings that do not compete with MPG. However, this position will become full-time within 6-9 months.
Pay would be fee-for-service with a guaranteed monthly minimum salary as we ramp up. There would be reimbursement for CEs and Health insurance. The right candidate could even become our Director of Neuropsychology and supervise future hires that would include a productivity bonus. There is also administrative support with scheduling, patient correspondences, billing and paperwork. Any needed testing materials and supplies could be provided.
We believe is a great opportunity for the right neuropsychologist who is interested in working in a fast-paced private practice setting with highly motivated colleagues and families. We want this position to become integral to our overall care model and so we are flexible in developing this position for the right candidates!
The start date is flexible.
