Dr. Zerykier is a New York State licensed psychologist (#020546). She received her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University and went on to earn her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in health psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Zerykier has extensive experience working with children, adults and families affected by a variety of social, emotional and behavioral difficulties such as anxiety, OCD, phobias, selective mutism, school refusal, Asperger’s Disorder, ADHD, difficulties with anger management, social skills difficulties, sleeping/toileting issues, depression and family issues. She has provided both individual and group treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings. She helps clients to reach their goals through a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, mindfulness and relaxation training, narrative therapy and play therapy.
Dr. Zerykier’s professional interests include helping families succeed through effective communication and parenting skills, and helping people achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle through effective coping for stress reduction and behavioral management to attain and maintain a healthy weight.
